January Update:

We obtained the results of Kent's MRI today and they show that his tumour is stable. Big cheer!! This means that the combination of daily Etoposide chemo pills and the bi-weekly Avastin IV injections are not allowing the tumour to grow. In terms of size, the tumour was 2.7 X 1.5 cm in November and it is now 3.0 X 1.0 cm. As a result, Kent will stay on course with this treatment strategy. His next MRI will be in April, unless he develops any negative symptoms - in which case we would get him an urgent MRI to figure out next steps.
